Fuel Surcharge

The fuel surcharge may increase, decrease, or be waived entirely depending on movements in the price of fuel. Each month we will monitor the fuel price in accordance with the National Average Diesel price (c/litre including GST) located on the Australian Institute of Petroleum website (found here).

The fuel surcharge will be calculated using the Adelaide average TGP Diesel Price (included in the table as the ‘fuel price’) for the invoiced month. For example, May’s fuel surcharge will be the average cost of fuel for May.

Front Lift & Bulk Bin Services

For every 10c that the fuel price increases, the surcharge will increase by 23c for Front Lift, and $1.70 for Bulk Bins. This includes all pricing above $4.99 per litre excluding GST.

Rear Lift Services

120lt, 240lt, 660lt and 1100lt bins are serviced by contractors on behalf of Signal Waste and are subject to a surcharge. This surcharge is charged at a percentage rate and passed on in full. The current monthly rate is 9.93%, calculated on the total invoice amount (excluding GST).
