Recycle Adelaide
Recycling Adelaide
What recycling programs does Adelaide offer it's residents? For starters, South Australia has a "Zero Waste" program, a government initiative to reduce landfill by 35% by the year 2020. This organisation assists businesses and homes with ideas for managing waste, paper and cardboard recycling and resources to reduce the amount of waste in our landfill. Signal Waste and Recycling supports the Zero Waste initiative and are proud to be able to work with this important organisation in the aim of reducing landfill by such a significant amount.
For residential areas, a kerbside collection bin is offered fortnightly to encourage residents to sort their paper and cardboard recycling into a seperate bin, complete with guidelines of what is suitable for recycling and what isn't. The Zero Waste website is an extremely helpful resource for finding out what can and can't be recycled, as well as locations of recycling stations. Paper and Cardboard recycling stations are located throughout Adelaide and are availble to residents and commercial properties and businesses that may have larger amounts of recycling to deal with. Signal Waste and Recycling assists residential and business properties with rubbish and recycling by coming to your location with skip bins or trucks to remove your waste. We can provide paper and cardboard recycling bins, a major source of unnecessary landfill that is so easily recycled. We can even recycle oil, E waste, concrete and batteries, so if you have some unwanted waste you're not sure what to do with, give us a call and we'll be happy to help you out. We also regularly review our recycling options to ensure that we're providing the best equipment and services to reduce landfill. Recycling and proper waste management is everyone's responsibility for a cleaner, greener future.
